Content delivery network expansion for CDNetworks

Content delivery network expansion for CDNetworksContent delivery network providers, such as Level 3 and Fastly, offer their customers a variety of website performance technologies that allow them to deliver their online data to end users quickly and efficiently. Whether that data is static, such as large data files, or dynamic, such as that delivered by social networks, content delivery network customers can be sure that their end user satisfaction levels will be high if they are using a high performance CDN.

In order to keep their networks operating a peak performance so that they can differentiate from rivals, content delivery network providers must constantly innovate and improve their networks. The latest high profile CDN provider to expand their network is CDNetworks, one of the world’s leading content delivery network providers.

CDNetworks’ expansion will see it set up a division in London, UK. This new EMEA subsidiary will bring together technical CDN experts and a dedicated support team which will allow the CDN provider to better serve their many customers across the region. This will complement their sales office, located in Munich, Germany.

“The internet has completely revolutionised the way we do business, so for brands, it is crucial to have a global, online presence. But for many western companies, launching a website in hard to reach markets and maintaining consistently high performances in all territories has proven impossible,” said Alex Nam, Managing Director, CDNetworks EMEA. “Leaning on our experience of helping brands overcome the unique challenges that particular geographies such as China present, we have already worked with companies throughout EMEA to successfully expand their online presence. Our new subsidiary in the UK, as well as our new sales office in Germany, will allow us to continue this momentum of measurable success and improvement, and better support new and existing customers. Furthermore, we also have plans to open another sales office in France, which will further solidify our presence across EMEA.”
