CDNify moves to its own content delivery network with custom SSL support

CDNify is a small CDN startup has been providing content delivery network services to their customers for a little over 2 years. Created to provide a simple and hassle free experience to users who may not have had any exposure to a CDN before, their service has proved popular.
Up until now, CDNify has been utilising a Federated CDN solution. However, CDify has overhauled their service to provide their customers with a much more flexible and controlled experience. This has involved creating their own CDN infrastructure, comprising of 20 points of presence (PoPs) spread across Europe, North America and Asis. This gives CDNify a great deal of flexibility when it comes to access new markets around the world.
Part of CDNify’s decision to create their own bespoke CDN was in order to achieve the control they needed over their customers security. Thanks to their new network, CDNify can now provide free Custom SSL to their users. This is a great selling point for the company, as it allows CDNify customers to use their own domain name when offering content via a secure connection to their users. This feature is particularly beneficial to those providing embeddable web apps or ecommerce platforms, such as online stores, especially if branding is a concern. Whilst most CDN providers charge around US$600 per month for this kind of feature, CDNify is offering it for free in an attempt to gain market share.
