LimelightDELIVER caches users' sites to ensure lightning-fast load times, and can distribute a broad range of content types to PCs, set-top boxes, game consoles and mobile devices, while LimelightSTREAM delivers smooth live streaming media that’s sure to inform, educate or entertain. In addition to these services, Limelight offer LimelightEXCHANGE, an advanced reporting and analytics tool that keeps track of customers' users and their traffic patterns and measure the popularity of your content. The Limelight network architecture is therefore optimised to maximise the user experience through high performance and reliable delivery of every object, every time

The service works by by being delivered using the LimelightSTREAM or LimelightDELIVER service. A high-performance delivery is then added to the content customers choose to make available in HD. The service handles video at 720p and 1080p resolution and at bit rates of 1.5Mbps or higher — significantly better than the 400Kbps video quality typically available on the Internet today.
